I'm Losing My Edge

Jack, scratch that, common mistake, Elijah, is still working on his feeding. 55 a time is needed. His score card for the day is something like this:

And he only took 25 for me today. Guess I'm not such a bad-ass after all. Oh well. On the bright side, he is getting the bottle at every feed now. Dude needs practice.

Current NICU departure estimate....August 21st. He turns 4 weeks tomorrow and 1 month old on Thursday. Crazy.

Big E's biggest problem is taking the bottle. He typically takes about 1/2 the bottle. That is, of course, until I show up and give him the biz. Today was day two that Big E took the full bottle for his old man. Daddy doesn't fuck around.

Time....

More time. Elijah still doing well. Just takes time, time, time. He is still batting about .500 on the feeds. Not much to say.

Time

Quick update. Elijah remains well. He continues to take most/all of his bottle when offered. Right now he only gets the bottle every other feed. He is still gaining weight at a good pace. Has some dips still, but those are getting less and less. There really hasn't been much to report, just that he is doing good and getting better.

My projected out date remains about the same, sometime in a few weeks.

Elijah is doing well. Took his full bottle the last two times. He is about 6 lbs. He is in a crib now. Wears colors. Hopefully we can bust him out sooner than later.
