8 Months Old

Old man river made an appearance today at the Kraft house. Turns out Jack and Riley are 8 months old today. Damn. Rachael and I have almost bummed out at times because they are so big already. Crazy.

Riley continues to impress with her gymnastic ways. She will be doing back flips before we know it. And though she gets on her hands and knees all by herself, and rocks, she has yet to make forward progress. Jack rolls all around, but not crawling yet either. Jack is over 17 lbs now and Riley is over 14 lbs.

Jack's Surgery

Jack and Riley are becoming more unique every day. They are complete opposites in a lot of ways. Jack is certainly the laid back easy going type. He just chills out and smiles over and over. Riley on the other hand is a little ball of energy. She can't ever sit still. She is also more emotional. She can hardly even sit still long enough to take her bottle. That can get frustrating.

We took Jack in for his surgery yesterday. He had to get tubes placed in his ears to drain fluid and get his tongue snipped because he was tongue tied. Everything went great and Jack was back to his normal self by late afternoon.

Swensons

We decided to pack up the kids and head to Swensons tonight. The kids cried the whole entire time. It ruled. Very relaxing.

You Enjoy Ourselves

In light of Phish reuniting last night, I figured I would put this video up here. The Mclovins really do a good job of covering YEM.

Photos

Here are some recent ones. From the past week. Everything is cool. Riley has been doing much better with her feeding. She doesn't reflux as much as she used to at all. I think this makes for a happier Riley. She seems to smile more often. Less cranky. Jack is plugging along. He has to get tubes put in his ears. He is having that "surgery" in about three weeks. I don't think it is much of a procedure.
