Rachael and I are off to the morning shift. Walking into the NICU can be a daunting process at times. You never want something to catch you off guard. Like yesterday when we were blindsided by the fact that Jack was placed on the CPAP. Sometimes, however, you walk in and find both babies doing really well. On those days you try to get your visit in quick and leave on a high note. You don't want to press your luck.
